Live from OKW

Hey all...Just checked into OKW today and will be staying until July 10. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I"ll try to answer them..I'll be on every couple of days!

If you get a chance, do you mind checking to see if OKW sells water. Does it come in gallons, 24 pk, 6 pk, etc. Also price - not to the penny. I can't remember right now.

We will be there this August and for the first time it will be myself, my dd and sister in a studio - cousin and her daughter in another studio. We will not have a car. I was thinking of ordering a few things and having them delivered (we really don't need much) through gardengrocer, etc. If i can get water at OKW - I will be fine picking up a few other things there (milk, snacks, etc.).

I am very concerned about my upcoming trip to OKW this August. I am a BCV owner and never have stayed at OKW. Have been hearing a lot of negativity about OKW rooms being run down and moldy. Please let me know if this is true. I am traveling with 3 kids. My 4 month old has some medical issues and I dont want to subject her to mold and uncleanly conditions. Are there any rooms that you know have been recently renovated. Also I need a location that is near the pool and bus stop so I can bring baby in frequently for medications and to cool off. Please let me know a good building # to request. Thanks so much for your time. Hope your having a great vacation.

Wow, really? I am surprised. I've been reading every thread with OKW in the title for months now and have heard nothing but glowing reports. I think perhaps the worst thing I have heard was that a squirrel got into someone's room and that someone else got insect bites from sitting on their balcony at night. Otherwise, everyone seems really pleased with OKW in general. I haven't read anything at all about the rooms being run down or moldy on these boards. We're totally looking forward to our August visit....can hardly wait!

check out travel yahoo reviews and tripadvisor reviews. I was very upset reading them too. A big part of my vacation is the room and I want it to be pleasing - not moldy and ugly as some reviewers stated.
