Not sure why you missed the info. DH is a chemical enginerd. Family are cattle ranchers. He just did not want to be a poor cowboy. Thank goodness for me I suppose. His brother lives there on the ranch and does the daily oversight along with Neils parents. We are like non-paid hired help for the big stuff (marking/branding/vaccination time, etc) and of course, any engineering projects....we (Neil) gets the call. I think we will eventually end up there or at least near there - look out Beano and RJ - we will be 45 minute neighbors.....

Ummmm....

no pedicures. Massage...maybe. Trails for walking - yep 1300 acres - walk all you want. Bonfires...you betcha. We even do smores.

And the indoor "never ending" lap pool the MIL put in is prudy sweet too. If you can keep the kids out.

Work....ah yes...you're gettin' it now. But it ain't so bad - throw some hay, get muddy, chase cows on 4-wheelers. Give medicine. Routine.

No scary guy named Curly. There is a cow named Curly however. And Neils brother Jim. Now he can be scary! I like to make him mad and see what new curse words he has learned!!

It's a hoot.

Let's see. Curly is one of Neils old, old, very old, show cows. I see if I can add her to the photo album. The hair on the top of her old cow head is curly. Hence, the name. Curly.
