Live From CSR and Loving It!!

We are here at CSR for three nights before our Disney Cruise. I have to say this is a lovely resort. I walked for 45 minutes around the lake this morning and I think I could live here and be quite happy! We ate at Maya Grill last night and it was exceptional. The cm's here are all so nice. We checked in at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday and the cm at check in was so efficient. I asked for a rollaway, by the time the bellman golf carted us over to our room (Ranchos section, bldg. 7 B) the rollaway was being delivered. The room is very spacious and nice, no double sink but that doesn't bother us. We have a quiet pool outside our door. The main pool is incredible, we're spending the day there today to relax. Bus service was fine but we only used it for Blizzard Beach yesterday. There are tons of cm's in golf carts, we were able to score a ride to Maya Grill last night quite easily and today I was offered a ride several times but declined since I was walking to exercise! I didn't realize how close to AK this resort is, you can see the top of EE from the grounds. I would gladly stay here again in a minute. I know some people worry about the size but I can't see anything from anywhere being a longer than 10 minute walk. And given the lovely grounds its a pleasure walking around here anyway.

Also, I have to say that other than SSR, this is the most pristine room I have had at WDW. No scuffs on the wall, spotless, like new bathroom/shower. Our mouskeeper Berta did a great job for us and left us a very sweet note and three towel animals thanking us for her tip.

I'll be a little sad to say goodbye to CSR even though we'll be leaving it to board the Magic!

Great report! CSR sounds awesome. I'm a little sorry I didn't choose CSR for our trip in May. We enjoyed POR, just not as much as I had hoped. Glad to hear you are having a great trip

Great to hear that all is going well for you and yours. I'm totally psyched about our return to WDW in May '07. I was hoping someone at CSR would give us some insight to what is coming our way and thanks to you we now know that we have made a good choice per our resort
