Greetings from BCV(our first visit here). My first impression is "boy is this 2br much smaller than SSR or VWL). We got in Thursday at about 7pm(3rd stop on the ME after Carrib. Beach and Boardwalk). Check in was quick and got a "welcome home". We're in 134, which is in pretty good shape, other than a big snag in the carpet right in front of the master bath. Looks like a new sofa in living room(along with directions for opening).

We ate dinner last night at B&C(not bad, DH says pretty good, 4 kitchen sinks were ordered while we were there).

Great location to walk right out patio doors to villa pool. Went to SAB today. Both pools are heated to a comfortable temp. for the weather(disclaimer we're from Ohio).

Hmmm, a lot of the size may just be perception. A 2-bedroom at BCV is 1,083 square feet, a 2-bedroom at VWL is 1,080, and a two-bedroom at SSR is only 1,075 square feet. Really they are nearly the same size. Now the 2-bedroom at BWV is bigger at 1,226 square feet. These came directly from DVC's main site at: http://dvc.disney.go.com/dvc/index

Did you make a room request beforehand or at the time of check in?

Enjoy your trip!! How nice that the water feels warm to you!! This is the first MLK jr. weekend in 8 years that we aren't in Florida, and I'm quite sad.
I had a birthday trip Jan. 2-6, so not complaining, really, just sad.

Well enjoy SAB, my DS loves it!! I thought they were about the same as SSR. The only time I see a difference is OKW room and there mighty size. Sounds like you have a great location:goodvibes.

Enjoy your vacation! We are headed to SSR on Thurs. Hoping for lots of sunshine and warm temps!

Enjoy your trip we are headed to BCV in July. We are all looking forward to the kitchen sinks. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I think some of the chairs are out of scale with the rooms, especially the 2 chairs in the 2nd bedroom.

Weather was nice on Sat for SAB, had one of the best dinners in a long time at the Flying Fish. Our server, Bob was great with his suggestions(especially the wine and desserts). Actually left him an additional tip above the 18% for DDE.

Also discovered Tangerine Cafe over at Epcot. I love Greek & Lebanese food and this was really good.

Off to Mama Melrose and Fantasmic tonight(we brought our long underwear).

AK was packed today, even worse than Turkey day 2006. Though did get on EE twice(younger DS and DH headed back to BCV, and left the fast passes with me and elder son):woohoo:

Tangerine Cafe is on my must try list. It will be when I next stay at BCV...how nice to be able to walk to such a wide variety of places for food!

Enjoy Fantamsic.

Bobbi:goodvibes

I also wanted to add  to the gang manning the BCV check in location. Always a hello or asking about your day(many welcome homes). The one was sad to see DS6 leave as she was going to miss his run in and out of the villas.

Also got a taped message from the GM of BC thanking us for staying and to let them know if we had any complaints. Alot of girls with computerized surveys were hanging out in the lobby.

Second trip in a row that our guide has left a message.
