Things so far are great.... what a send off. Dinner was fantastic. Water seems to be much more noticeable then past Disney cruises. So far everyone got the mickey captain hat, hand, and minnie scarf for the send off. Castaway club gift was special west coast red beach blanket. The cruise does not seem full. Maybe most are tired. Variety show was great! Does not seem to be a lot of activities for first day at sea. The navigator to me seems like a big ad for all of the musicians on board. Where is the behind the scenes and navigator series???

I am getting so excited we are going in 76 days!!!
Can you tell me do they have the Golden Mickey Ears on board? I have seen them in many pictures but I don't know if they are a DisneyLand thing or if they are selling them on board.
There were some pictures of the send off on another link that were great! Hope you have a great time and smooth sailing to you all.

Have fun! We had a great time watching you all off on Saturday! I was a MAGICal experience!!!!!

Hi Folks,

It's cold out here today...no sun yet; but they keep telling us tomorrow will be beautiful.

Can't seem to get a straight answer about LE Pins. But I can tell it nothing has been released yet. The First West Coast Cruise merchandise is limited to a white tshirt with navy blue letters with the ports and date. It's only $12! There is some generic West Coast cruise merchandise, nothing that looks real special. No merchandise from the repo cruise that I've seen.

I've got photos of the sail away yesterday (and daily reports) on my site (i'm not sure I can put the url here).

Let me know if you have any specific questions, I'll try to get answers for you.

SO far, no "special" surprises or announcements after yesterday's incredible sail away. In case you haven't heard, when we got to our staterooms, we each had Sailor Mickey hats with Mouse Ears, red and white scarfs with May 28, 2005; Inaugural Cruise, and plastic hands to wave.

the Magic blew her horn about a dozen times as we left LA. It was quite an experience.

What are the menus like - any different themes? Any special/different offerings on the Navigator?

what time did they start letting people on the ship. my dd want to know she hates to wait around. That is my only question for now but I am sure I will have more as time goes on thanks for posting. I have taken this cruise on princess and it is cold the first day out and it was very windy coming back from Cabo

Hi guys we leave next weekend. How cold? Obviously it varies but tshirt, long sleeve, sweatshirt, parka? So warm cozy clothes sound like they are in order for the first and last day of the cruise. Correct????

What are we going to do about our pretty lime greentshirts?
Was anyone at the Mickey pool while in port?
Again we would love to know when boarding started as well. What time should we leave and/or arrive? is 10:30 good?

Deb,

THANK YOU for the update, let us know whenever you can if
anything else comes up.

The ears sound so cool, hopefully maybe someone can post a picture.....

Have a GREAT TRIP!!!!!
