Hi all!!

BTW...we had originally put all of our boys in the Club. Their ages are 4, 6, and just turned 8. We felt the 8 year old would be better of with the 5-7's as he is in 2nd grade like most 7 year olds. We were wrong. He was bored with the younger kids so we moved him up to the Lab this morning. He is much happier now and they were very accommadating in moving him around. I thought that would be good for all to know seeing that this is a FULL cruise and they still are very accommadating!

That's all for today, I'll post again tomorrow!

Kelli,
My son had also just turned 8 when we cruised last week. I felt like the 8-9 year old group was by far the best group of all . They had so many activities for them. My DD was 7 when we cruised last time & the lab just seemed to offer so much more. He never wanted to leave!!
Enjoying your reports! Have fun!

Sounds like you're having a very nice cruise :teeth:

I'll be on the Magic next week and am so excited I can hardly stand it! Where was your DIS meet and did many attend? We're hoping to meet up with many fellow DISers next week and was wondering where a good meeting spot might be :)

Thanks!

Mom from NC

Kellimom3 Hate to bother you. Can you see if Scott from England is still on board. he does the napking folding class. Thanks

We were lucky enough to have Sasha for our dinner at Palo's - Warning do not eat anything before you go - he will bring out at least one extra entree for the table and several deserts. Have fun and enjoy the rest of the cruise!

If you see Sasha, Tell him hello from us. We will see him the week of February 12th. Cant wait. Hope to have him again as our server. Would make it 4 times in a row !!!!

Enjoy your cruise, and hope you have improved (Warm ) weather.

Mark

Kelli, add us to the list of well wishers for Sasha. He has quite the fan club here in the DIS. :) Tell him the Graves who had Marco & Rudy in the dining rooms say hello. Please add that we hope his wife is doing well. She is expecting twin girls in a few months.

I was on the one that just got back on the 15th. Our weather was beautiful the whole trip! HOpe yours has cleared up.

Okay, so the cruise has not gone exactly as planned! Yesterday afternoon, my 8 year old came down with a stomach virus and is quarenteened until tonight. So...we missed formal night, meeting the captain and we will miss our REAS dinner and turndown tonight. He is feeling better now (11am). They brought him a VCR with some movies and any drinks he eants. Guest Services has been very nice but we are very dissapointed in what we are missing. My husband and I have been taking shifts in the room with him. Luckily (through the advice of these boards) we had booked two rooms so we have been able to keep his brothers away from him. They have been spending their days in the club and returning only to go to bed in the other room. I really need some pixie dust sent our way in hopes that none of the rest of us come down with this. 24 hours I guess I can handle but if anyone else gets it, I think I'll cry!

Do any of you know if we are covered for days missed by our insurance? We booked through Disney's insurance. We would like to crusie again so even a cruise credit would help.

On another note, we were suppossed to be a Grand Cayman today but could not tender due to winds. I feel bad for all who had excursions planned. I was already dissapointed about missing it due to my son's illness we can't leave our room, let alone the ship!

The water has been a bit rough. It's very windy. Hopefully tomorrow will be a new day and we can explore Cozumel.

Send that PIXIE DUST!!

Prayers and pixie dust sent!

Pixie dust coming :teleport: Sounds like he is feeling better, so hopefully ya'll can enjoy Cozumel tomorrow. Most stomach bugs pass fairly quickly. Have a great rest of trip :jumping4:

Tell him I hope he feels better soon. Here comes some pixie dust from PA :wizard:

It should be. I had a similar illness during a 4 day Wonder cruise and was quarantined for 48 hours and my wife for 24 hours. I claimed 2 days for both my wife and me (1/2 the total fare of our 4 day cruise) since my wife really couldn't do anything that extra 24 hours I was quarantined. The insurance company paid promptly.

When you get home, call the number on your insurance brochure and they'll explain the process and send you claim documents to fill out. Be sure to save all supporting documentation. I had the diagnosis from the ship's doctor, a letter from the captain telling me I was quarantined, and the confirmation from my TA showing my cruise fare.

Kelli,

More :wizard: coming your way from the frozen tundra of the northeast. Praying no one else gets the stomach virus in your family!!!

I'm sorry that your little guy got sick. I hope that you get the all clear and are able to enjoy the rest of your plans.

We sailed RCL last week and the Seas were so rough at night!!! Hope those NORTH winds have passed...
