Live Event Painter

I have a new MUST HAVE for my wedding. A painter. At the ceremony. Painting it as it happens. Look!!

I have to have this. This is better than any photograph ... AH OMG.

Anywaaaay..... Does anyone know if Disney is able to supply? Or if anyone had a painter at their wedding? Our wedding is in park (Epcot) so everything has to be through Disney. Going to send my sales consultant and email but thought I'd drop a line here too

A live event artist is something that I wanted for a long time. Now that our guest list is reduced to just immediate family, I don't think there would be much to paint, but I still think it's the coolest thing ever. It would be so much more worthwhile to me than something like videography.

I haven't heard of any event artists in the central Florida area, but the travel fee would probably be a pittance compared to the cost of the service itself. You could try Frances Lynn in West Palm Beach, or liveeventartist.com, who have artists in several cities and say they will travel anywhere. I like Greg Kalamar's style, but he's pricey.

I think a small ceremony would still be lovely to paint! Just like you'll want a picture of it ... a painting can be even more special.

WOW-what an awesome idea!!!! I wish I had known about event painters for our wedding at the Swan a few years ago!

Maybe I will save up for a painting created from one of our photographs....

I've read that a lot of artists are happy to make a painting from a photo! Wouldn't that be an amazing piece of art to hang in your home?
