Always wanted to say that! Sorry to disappoint , we are at VWL, but I won't be posting pics. Well, not until we get back. The resort is beautiful and our room (a studio) is very well maintained. The weather has been gorgeous! Hot during the day, but with some breeze in the evening to cool off a little.

I actually popped onto this board because I was laughing at what a boat pilot said last night. We were on our way back from Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness when someone asked about the "new building" by the Contempory. He explained that it is Bay Lake Towers, a "timeshare", and that it opened a month ago. However, he told them that it was 95% sold out as of last October! Do they spread these rumors on purpose or do they really just not know any better?

I know it was no big deal, but it just made me laugh thinking of all the "facts" people hear from bus drivers and boat drivers and have posted on the DIS.

Read from another poster that the crowds right now are very low. Sounds like a good time to be there if you can withstand the heat. Look forward to more updates, hope you have a great trip. I've stayed at VWL once and really, really enjoyed it. It is such a beautiful resort.

95% might not be far off. Only half of the building is currently for sale, so it is possible that 95% of that half has been sold.

Glad you are enjoying your trip. I agree that weather at night right now is great. WL is my home resort and my favorite, so nice to hear when others also enjoy staying there. Have a great rest of your trip and be sure to post those pictures when you get home!
