Hi DISers! I am live again. From my bed in the Sequoia Lodge, with my laptop on my lap! Its sunrise and looks like a beautiful day !
Yesterday was rainy and drizzly, but we managed to have a great time anyway! We saw Mickeys Winter Wonderland. Loved that! I want to see it again at night.. maybe tonight. We had lunch at Lucky Nugget food good, service terrible (non-existent) and VERY crowded. Characters seemed frazzled and did not spend a lot of time in the dining room. Live music on stage was wonderful. All in all it was okay, but I would not go back again on such a crowded day. I think everyone was trying to escape the lousy weather (like us).
Wednesday was gorgeous but cold. Saw Fantillusion - we stood right at the beginning of the route and there was almost nobody there. Then we followed the Minnie Float around to the Pooh stage where the first stop took place. Brilliant!! ALL of the princess floats were lined up around the Pooh audience area - and it looked AWESOME. When the parade started moving again, we went back toward Fanasy land and road IASW - Then made our way out of the park bypassing the parade.
Had our first ride on Space Mountain Mission 2!!! YAY! We both loved it. It does tend to box my ears a bit, but its so much fun anyway. We used our anytime fast passes which we got with my annual pass DREAM. Otherwise the wait would have been almost an hour!
Lots more to tell, but must get up and back to the parks for more fun! Ill be online this evening and if you have any questions Ill try to answer.
Oh, that reminds me! The Bavarian market I did check it out yesterday and there are some quite interesting booths there. Gifty things I dont know what is particularly Bavarian its the same type of things you can buy in the Druze markets in Northern Israel interesting stuff though. Babushka dolls, Christmas ornaments, hand made toys and other objects, jewelry, strawberries dipped in chocolate(! I want to try those today) and pizza, hot pretzels about 25 stalls in all. Very nice. Not Disney, by any means but if you like this sort of market its nice.
Well, off I go! more later.
