Anyone watch tonight? It was the memorial for Mike. :sad1: Very Sad

DW got me to watch it tonight as I suvived what he had, Aortic Dissection. I had mine in 2007 and am close to the 2 year mark for survival..IT's been a very long hard painful road, but at least I'm alive

Wasn't "watching", but I had it on in the background.. I was really suprised to hear that.. I liked him..:(

I'm glad you are doing better. I remember when your wife reported what happened to you.

Really sad show tonite. I can't believe the camera crew kept Amy's microphone on, when she went to the other room to cry out of the camera's view. That was a private moment for her, they didn't need to show that.

I was crying because it was so sad.

This is only the second Christmas since I lost my Mamaw, so I was already feeling kind of bleh and a little weepy.

Which one was Mike? *says she who watches it, only on Mondays, :P*

Mike was Matt's business partner the last 8 years.
He helped with projects on the farm.
He was Zach's and Jeremy's "indoor" soccer coach.

Mike birthday was listed as 1948 and died this year, so he was 60 years old.

He sort of looked like Matt's dad.

I've been watching LPBW since it first aired and I enjoy the show. I know how close Mike has been to the family so I knew tonight's episodes were going to be extremely sad. :sad1:

I always thought that Mike seemed like a great person.

eddad: I'm glad that you're doing ok. :)

I never miss LPBW!! I cried so hard tonight. I remember when I heard Mike had died, we were at Rainforest Cafe. I got the news via MySpace from a friend and was shocked.

We're glad you are, Ed! I'm sure she shared with you the threads with our prayers and well wishes for you when you were in the hospital. :)

Ed

RIP Mike. I love this show and he will be missed.

Yes, very sad.. DH & I watched.. We knew he had a heart attacked, we didn't know he died..

I liked the picture they had for him at the Memorial, but, it made him look like he needed to be on a Book jacket ;)

Good for Matt and Amy for not telling the kids on camera and letting them talk about it in their own words.

I was really saddened by Mike's death he seemed like a good friend to the family. RIP Mike Diejtin

I hadnt watched the show in months and happened to turn it on tonight.

Very sad
