Ok, I have a home daycare and need a good double stroller. Here's what I want in a double stroller:

#1-easy to meneuver
#2-folds up and dosen't take up a huge amount of room when folded
#3-fits through a standard doorway
#4-semi-lightweight. I'd like to fold it up and take it in the car from time to time.
#5-noting too extravagently expensive. Ideal price would be under $200

Any suggestions? Also, anyone know the best place to get them for a good deal?

I have had the graco duo travel stroller for the past eight years, and it's held up through a couple more kids since then, too. There are more upgrades since then, too. I almost bought the newer version this past year when I had my fourth, but since the old one wasn't broken, I just kept with the old one. I'm able to fold it easily and put it in and out of van easily. check e-bay, I saw a new one on there last week, for the price Target had on clearance last year, when i should have boughten it - $75!!
Hope that helps

I loved my combi twin savvy. price may not be what you're looking for (i'm sure you can find couons or coupon codes) but it folds up to smaller than a travel system stroller.

I wish you were near me. I'm trying to sell mine.

I have a Graco Duo Glider and now that my oldest has gotten bigger (he's 5 and weighs 44lbs) it is impossible to push! We only used it on long day trips (most of the time he walks) but now he is too big to sit in the back and all that weight up front make it impossible. I don't even consider using it anymore.

So we were faced with looking for a stroller for a 2 week trip to disney that had the same requirements as you, but would hold a heavier child. I bought the MacLaren Twin Triumph and I love it! It's a side by side (which I never thought I would like) but it fits through standard doorways. It holds up to 55lbs per seat (most go up to 40 or 45). It has a great turning radius (I can take it down our hallway which is not much wider than the stroller and can still turn it at the end of the hallway to go through the doorway). It's as easy to push with one child as it is with 2, and I can push it and steer it easily with 1 hand. It also folds up fairly compact for a double and is fairly lightweight. I have used it shopping and had no more trouble getting it through the stores than I did in my single Graco. I would highly recommend it and I look forward to using it in Disney.

Oh, and I bought a floor model and was able to get it for $200.

Hope this helps!

I second the Maclaren Twin Triumph.

I've had a few different doubles and this is by far the best, IMO.

I have and love my Joovy Groove 2. It meets all of your requirements and you cannot beat the sunshades. I think the shade is much better than the Maclarens and, it does not tip when your children come out of the stroller like the Macs. Look on BRU and Amazon. It is around 200.
