Little Ones Magic Hour

It would not be a "sitting on the sidelines" situation.

If you bring a "child" who is outside of the "window" age, your party would not be admitted (or at least one adult would have to stay outside the gates with the "old" kid until regular opening time.)

Robo - I beg to differ.... Many Diser's have reported being able to attend the Little Ones EMH that did not even have children with them. Even if Disney has decided to enforce the LOEMH, it is for FAMILIES with children under 5. Older siblings, grandparents ect are part of the family and would not be denied entry. Now stop trying to stir the pot :stir: ;)

I do not find this. Where do you find this information?

BUT:

1) Who is to say how old your child is in the first place?

2) I doubt that a 6-year-old would be a problem, but what about 8 or 10?

3) Where is this information avaliable to guests making WDW plans?

That is insane. Nobody is going to turn away a FAMILY who meets the required age just because some of the siblings are too old. HOW WACKED OUT IS THAT? :confused3 Dh will be meeting us later in the week and I WILL be taking all of my children with me to the Little Ones time. How on earth can I leave my 9 and 6 year olds alone so that their little 4 year old brother can enjoy that time? Did Disney actually make this rule or is this someone's "thought" as to what should be done? I am not flaming anyone, I just need to clarify...because seriously, what are they going to do, tell my four year old that he is S.O.L. because his parents popped out some older siblings so now he cannot get in?!!! That is the WORST thing I have ever heard of Disney doing. Disney is supposed to be about families having fun together. NOT about seperating them. :(

What if your vacation reservation has a 2 yr old, but also has aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? Where's the cut-off? I'd love to do this with my cousin's 2 yr old, and I'm already planning on treating them to a WDW trip when she gets out of the hospital after her 2nd surgery, but who gets to go in?

WDW needs to get a clear policy online, because so many people do their planning from the info on their website.

I feel special, I got quoted TWICE! :cool1:

Anyways, back to the original point - do we have it in writing yet?

Lisa, sounds like your DH will be easy to find! Look forward to seeing you!

DH is VERY easy to find :teeth: We took a bus tour of Europe on our honeymoon and when we were in Paris there was this tiny older asian woman in the hotel elevator with us who barely cleared my husbands waist. As she was looking up at him, one of our touring mates said to her (refering to my husband) "We grow them big in America" and she replied with "King Kong" IT is one of the most humorous memories from our honeymoon! Needless to say, I am sure you will notice us...

I look forward to seeing you there!!!

I don't agree, my daughter will be 7 when we go in April, and she would love to play with the characters. I think an age limit would be appropriate, but maybe make it 9, since that is the age the dining plan then turns into an adult. My daughter is not a toddler anymore, but we are spending lots of money for this trip and if she wants to do that, I think she should be allowed in.

I don't see anything in that artwork cover about families or parents.
Any ideas about what this means?

I am sorry, I should have prefaced that with "In my opinon" & posts that I have read here on the disboards... I have not read this 'in print' but have been reading threads on this Little Ones EMH since they first announced it. There were several threads on the boards about weather or not there was an age "cutoff" and if guest with no children or older children should attend this EMH if they could...this was before the LOEMH started. Reports from Disers who have gone since opening have reported no problems for any resort guests entering MK for the LOEMH (until this thread...)
