My friend is trying to book a four night stay in the Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation for October 12-16. Currently her dates are not available. Do you think anything will open up considering the LM rooms are excluded from free dining? Should I have her book Pop Century just in case and keep checking? TIA

I told her to book her room months ago when I did (we are going together, but separate rooms). Now she is frustrated cause she can't get the room she wants. I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for her.

Yes book another room and wait for LM to open up. If it doesn't, then at least she will have a room with access to AoA to check out the resort. Start making the payments now so it's paid off earlier.

If she really wants to go, then yes, she should book Pop now. If she waits, that too could get sold out. Once booked, she could continue to check to see if LM opens up. Best of luck to her.

I agree. It's better to have a room on-site than no room at all. Your friend should definitely book a room ASAP and then if something opens up she can always change. pixiedust:

Definitely keep checking. The first date I wanted to stay at AoA LM (9/29) was unavailable for weeks (only family suites available), so I had it booked at Pop just in case. I checked multiple times per day and a LM room just opened up last night :cool1:

We have 5 nights at CBR and 3 nights at LM in Nov. We were thinking about changing our res around - knocking a few days off the beginning of the trip and just staying at LM. I couldn't get the dates I wanted so we are keeping the res as is. I am glad we got the three days we got and that I booked it as early as I did.

Just tell her to keep trying. I have read on here that a lot of people would be canceling their LM res when FD opened up for the Fall because LM didn't offer it.

Definitely have your friend book a room at POP. Once a cancellation comes along (because they always do) cancel the POP res and quickly book at AOA.

Thanks for all of your responses. I checked again this morning and it is available! Now the hard part comes. Convincing her to book.
