I am putting a gift box together for two young children (both girls) that have recently moved from California to a different state. I want the items to be reminiscent of California. Any ideas? Thanks!

Depends on what part of California? Sourdough bread, golden gate puzzle, something to do with beach, jams from local fruit.

Are you asking about Disneyland or DCA items in particular? Otherwise, with the ease of ordering things online there aren't a lot of uniquely California items. You'd almost have to buy something at some CA attraction (e.g., the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosemite, etc.) if you wanted it to be "unique" to CA.

If you're asking at DLR items, I'd get something that is unique to DLR like pins, toys, etc. that say Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure.

Sorry, I meant from Disneyland/California Adventure and the surrounding area, namely OC. For instance I have those pre-packaged Mickey Mouse chocolate & caramel popcorn bags in mind. I also thought of an In-N-Out t-shirt lol.

Moved to our community board.

How about some sea shells, or beach towel that says Huntington or Newport Beach?

Hard to say, because so many things are made in China.
