Little decorations for the new Disney bands?

Hi All,

I've seen character 'decorations' that go in the holes of the Magic Bands. Anyone know where these are found?

You can find them in the parks, or at the resorts. When we stayed at the poly, they had them in the tiki boutique there. I also saw them at the emporium store in MK, and at a store in DHS.

I got mine I think from our resort's gift shop. They sell them pretty much everywhere! The replacement set I got after losing my MB was brought from the gift shop after the Mickey M&G at MK.

Yeah, you can get them pretty much everywhere - but some places will stock more choice than others: there are 'band its' which pop into the holes and are in packs of 4 or 5 (Emma got the Mickey Head gems), there are sleeves which you slide your MB into so you don't have that silicon touching your skin, and there are also little frames which go into the centre of the MB and make scanning the Mickey head a bit easier for some. They make the MB look a bit like a watch.

Just be careful, I had friends who got the Bandits when they first came out and found that they lost them fairly frequently. (Maybe they've improved them since then?) Another nice option is to decorate the bands with nail polish. I made a Tinkerbell one for our last trip with some clear glitter polish and then yellow polish over the Mickey head. Came out pretty cute!

Emma's band its didn't even come loose - either they've improved them or it's the metal ones which fall out.

She's put silver sparkly nail varnish on her band, but it doesn't look good, tbh. Unfortunately normal glossy nail varnish doesn't flex with the band and will peel off.

Great to know about the charms. I wonder of the type of polish makes a difference? I have now painted five bands with two coats of polish and a topcoat and none of them peeled or looked cracked after a week of touring.
