I hate confrontation and although I'm desgusted I pick it up myself. I will also throw out a warning, although not likely to happen at Disney. We had a patient come into the office a few days ago.....that person had seen a garbage bag fall off a truck. They thought they would do the good thing and stopped their car to move it out of the road. Well there was a needle in that bag and it stuck them in the hand when they moved it. Now because of someone else's inconsiderate and idiotic actions, this person is terrified out of their mind. 
Just be mindful as to what you are picking up. On another note, What really makes me mad are the people who throw out cigerette butts from their car windows. I almost had my home burn down from a fire that was started by one of those things. Come on people, they don't say high fire danger just to inconvience you!
