I know for a fact that my dad wants to get an ECV for our trip at the end of June, but he's thinking that he'll only want it for walking-heavy days, such as at Epcot. I think we should get one for all of the days, just so he doesn't tire out in the first few days, or worse, we have to rent one from a park because we've discovered it's too strenuous, and we have to shell out the $50! I've been pushing for renting one off-site for the entire week we're there, and after looking around I definitely think that the Lite Rider from Scooterbug is our best option! This is mostly because we will be driving to Universal for two days, and having one that breaks apart would be the only way, really! So I've decided to gather all the info and present it to him, in hopes that he'll see it's our best (and cheapest) offer!
1.) When disassembled, would it fit into the back of a normal car? We'll be renting, and though I'm not sure what our car will be exactly, I'm sure it will be a normal 4-door sedan. Will an empty trunk be big enough?
2.) It says assembly is easy, but is it truly easy?
3.) How do the battery packs work? I'd like to get the extra one since the battery life is so short. (We have no experience with ECVs)
If you can answer one or all of my questions I'd greatly appreciate it!
