List your January ADRs here!

I just made our first ADR today, thank you 190-day glitch.

Jan. 15 - 50s Prime Time Cafe, 6:30PM

Other hopeful reservations are:

Jan. 16 - Breakfast, Crystal Palace (early)
Jan. 17 - Dinner, Chef Mickey's (late)
Jan. 18 - Dinner, Narcoossee's
Jan. 19 - Dinner, Kona Cafe
Jan. 20 - Breakfast, 1900 Park Fare

We'll be doing CS on Jan. 21-22, and for other meals during the 8-day stay!

I am arriving in December, so most of my ADR's are in December. In January, I have:

Jan. 1 - Tusker House - lunch
Jan. 3 - Le Cellier - dinner

There are 10 of us going, but we aren't always doing meals together. One night, we (my sister and I) are doing a grown-up night with our cousin and her husband while the grandmas watch their and my sister's kids! :)

Dec 30:
Chef de France @ 6:30 PM (will switch this once the CP packages are out) - 10 people

Dec 31:
Mama Melrose's @ 12:00 PM - 4 of us
Chef Mickey's @ 5:30 PM - 10 of us
Kona @ 7:55 PM - 10 of us for dessert... mostly this is to guarantee we can park at the Poly and watch the NYE fireworks from the beach. This one might get canceled if we decide to just park at the TTC.

Jan 1:
Jiko @ 5:30 PM - 3 of us

Jan 2:
Akershus Princess Breakfast @ 8 AM - 10 people
Cape May Clam Bake @ 5:40 PM - 4 people

Jan 3:
Whispering Canyon Cafe @ 1:20 PM - 4 people
Tony's Town Square @ 5:45 PM - 10 people

Jan 4:
Boma if we can ever GET IT! ;)
California Grill @ 7:20 PM - 4 people - "DATE" NIGHT! :)

Jan 5:
Boma @ 5:00 PM

Jan 6:
Coral Reef @ 12:00 PM - 10 people
Le Cellier @ 5:45 PM - 4 people

Jan 7:
50s Prime Time Cafe @ 12:10 PM - 10 people
Citricos @ 5:30 PM - 4 people

Jan 8:
Tusker House @ 8:00 AM - 4 people
Teppan Edo @ 6:20 PM - 10 people

Glad to see I'm not the only one staying over from NYE! I've been with the whole extended family before, and we usually split up oe way or another for meals, so I know how that is - good luck keeping everyone together the rest of the time!

Just made ADRs for the Fantasmic! dinner package on the 2nd, so now I have:

Dec. 30th: Sanaa @7:15pm
Dec. 31st: Biergarten @ 8pm (is this too late to get a good seat for fireworks?!)
Jan 1st: Crystal Palace @ 8:25am
Jan 2nd: Brown Derby Fantasmic! Dinner Package @ 4pm
Jan 3rd: Nothing yet, planning on hitting AK & Epcot again, any suggestions?
Jan 4th: Same as above but MK, might just bring in snacks and not worry about sitting down anywhere.

I was able to book the first day of our vacation thanks to the 190 day glitch.

So far we have:

January 18th - Chef Mickey's 10:30 am
January 18th - Whispering Canyon Cafe 5:30 pm

We aren't planning any TS for the 19th, so I get to sleep in tomorrow morning. :)

Me too. I'm picking and choosing which days I book and which I can wait on. Today I booked:

1/17 @ Cap. Grill (waited and booked today) w/
1/18 @ LeCellier lunch (I like the first lunch so I'm there when they sing O'Canada)

So will book tomorrow Coral Reef-D

Then wait until Saturday to book, 50s PT-L, Kona Cafe-D, and LeCellier-D. No need to rush on the first 2. This way I am only booking on the days the location is a hard to get one.

This is a 16 day trip, so lots of TS dining to do, though not every day as we have several days to visit US/IOA. Plus TiW cardholders, so doesn't really matter to me if LeCell goes signature or not. But wanted to do both lunch and dinner to try out the new menu(s).

Me too with LeCellier. It only tempts me if they do go signature because I have high hopes that the menu will improve again. I probably need to just book it now, and then wait and see if they change the menu. If they don't we could always cancel it.

Not sure if we're going to do the DDP or TiW. It will depend on the dining plan announcement which won't be until mid August.

Still can't get Boma for breakfast on January 4 online or by phone. I continue to be told the calendar isn't uploaded into the system. I'm not sure what the hold-up is since it's been released for dinners. It's so frustrating to call daily and be told to check back.

What's ironic is that you can get 'Ohana for breakfast, but not dinner after the first of January. Sounds like Boma is the exact opposite. You can get dinner, but not breakfast.

We check in on the 19th. Can I book 190 days out tomorrow online or do I have to call?

That's so weird. Any idea why this is the case?

It has to be done online. There is a glitch in the online computer system, but it doesn't extend to the software that the phone agents use.

No idea other than it's Disney and the only thing you can count on is to count on the unexpected. :goodvibes

Hopefully it gets straightened out soon. I ran into something similar with LTT breakfast last year (when Crystal Palace was being renovated), and in the end I had no issue getting my reservation. I am hopeful that I'll be as lucky this year with 'Ohana.

Dec 29th: Crystal Palace 7:35 pm
Dec 30th: San Angel Inn 7:30 pm
Dec 31st: Marrakesh 1:40 pm
Teppan Edo 7:50 pm
Jan 1st: Sci-Fi 1:40 pm
Mama Melrose (Fantasmic Package for the first time!) 4:00
Jan 2nd: Tusker House 9:15 am
California Grill 7:30 pm
Jan 3rd: Flying Fish 7:35 pm

Are January dining reservations really difficult to get?

We went in Sept. last year during free dining, as well as my reservations were to be made the same exact week the online booking opened. Am I going to be in a panic as when I was a year ago? Please tell me no - that is why we're going in Jan!

No I have no problems booking any where. I even put in Le Cellier just to see and it came up with several times during my stay. We just love to be ahead and can't wait 10 extra days to get our dining for 6 months from today. :happytv:

Do you think I'll have trouble getting ADRs at the 180 day mark for MLK weekend and the few days right before that? I missed the boat on the 190 day glitch so reservations have been available via that route for about a week now. I'm a little worried that everything will be booked up once the regular 180 mark rolls around.:scared1:

At this point I'm pretty close to the 180 day mark anyway so I'm thinking I'll take the time to figure out our plans and book then. Need to get my head around it since we're just starting the planning and I don't have a room reservation booked yet anyway to do the 190.

I don't think enough people know about the 190 day glitch to make it a problem. And from what I understand, you can input a bogus confirmation number and it will let you into the system to book. If you read farther back into this thread, you'll see evidence of this. I think you could go ahead now if you're really worried, but I don't think it will be a huge deal for you because a) as I said, not enough people know about this, and b) you're going in January - a historically low attendance time. Good luck when you are ready to book! :)

Thanks so much, that makes me feel better. Good point about not enough peopple knowing about the glitch. I read about the bogus confirms and then I was wondering if my confirmation number for our Oct. trip would "unlock" the extra days but DH got nervous that we'd somehow mess with our existing ADRs for October then I got paranoid too and decided wait (I'm not sure exactly what I think would happen but like I said, I'm paranoid :rotfl:!).

I'm in the process of making my ADRs for mid-January. Since DVC members make their reservations 11 months prior to arriving, we don't have to wait. I've been using my confirmation number and getting a wide selection of times to book. I'm up to January 20th now. I'm not doing it every day, only the days where I have a hard to get ADR, then I make several days worth at a time. So while lots of folks don't know about the "glitch", all of us DVC members going in January have our confirmation numbers and are making our ADRs now. I guess I too would be nervous making up a fake confirmation number and would hate to have those ADRs purged from the system later. Good Luck!

Guess what?! The breakfast Boma ADR finally went through today! You might want to try 'Ohana - maybe they've finally fixed this! :cool1:

Thanks for the heads up. 'Ohana is available online now as well. :goodvibes
