For Hanukkah last month, I got
-Oklahoma! dvd
-2 American Girl doll outfits
-Disney princess calender
-build-a-bear scarf, hat, and mittens set for my teddy bear
-a menorah of my own to take with me to Orlando when I move
- a really nice outfit for interviews in such that mom and I went shopping together for
-a golden name necklace that says Belle instead of Angela.

Oh, and one of my friends gave me a little Care Bear keychain and B&TB little plastic characters. A friend of my mom's gave me a hairbrush with a handpainted horse on the back.

"Chicken Soup for the Working Soul" from DD
A Kodak Easy Shot digital camera
A running log/calendar (my gift to myself, to get me motivated to start running again)
A hairdryer (my old one burned up on Saturday)

Other stuff from my in-laws and my folks will be opened when we see them next week . . .

DH gave me a snowman for my collection and some bean soup - you know the kind that is in a glass jar and is in layers??? Don't even go there..

he never took the kids out to pick out something for me...nothing. I know that it is real trivial in light of so many other things, but it still hurts my feelings. I don't get a gift OR a card on my bd or anniversary. If I want to do something I have to plan it myself. DH's family didn't exchange gifts with any of the adults this year - but we (me) bought for everyone. Didn't even get a card.

ok...enough of my whining......it just gets to me sometimes.

A handsfree headset for cell phone
and electric ice cubes like ones from Sci fi dine in.
will get stuff from parents and brothers saturday.
