can anyone list some reputable silk flower makers that can do custom arrangement? local to WDW or online. hopefully it isn't more expensive than fresh flowers...
TIA

have you considered clay flowers? I was going to do this, but ended up using fresh flowers (happy with that decision). It takes about 3 months to have a bouquet made, but it is certainly something that will last forever. Here is the link:

They look real. I don't think they are less expensive than fresh, but again, they will last forever...

wow never heard of it.....it originated from Japan too..awesome. but i'm afraid we can't wait 3 months and probably blows our budget lol...
Thanks though!

LOL... no prob...

I tried to find silk lily of the valley to incorporate into my bouquet, but was not thrilled with the silk selection out there...

good luck in your search!

followup question:
are all silk flowers created equal?
i saw a lot of beautiful silk flowers online but wonder what's it like in person.
So I went to Michaels to see their silk flowers..and though uh..will this really come out like real flowers when photographed?!

would like to get your opinions on this please, on Michaels(or any craft store) silk flowers versus online stores.

thanks!

This probably won't help you much, but I haven't been impressed with any silk flowers I have seen. Perhaps because I wanted them to look as real as possible. Like I was saying about the lily of the valley...I found a place online that said that they had realistic lily of the valley...yeah right, they still looked fake. I went to a couple of places, and yuck. I found orchids that looked ok, but I think the problem you might have with any silks will be be fraying on the edges.

Perhaps someone who has used silks can help you out?

hehe yeh for some reason I'm thinking there must be some 'superior' blend of silk flowers. but if silk is silk no matter where to get it from then...might scrap the idea of using any of that for the ceremony. probably will use silk for reception decorations though.

hmm...what if you use silks for decor, and real for bridal party flowers?

If you don't get lily of the valley (LOL) or stephanotis, it might not be so bad...
