Hi there... our son enjoys some down time on various disney playgrounds and tom sawyers island. Does anyone have a list of all the playgrounds (such as bugs life, honey i shrunk the kids, etc) and what parks they are located at?

Thank you!!!

Tom Sawyer island, honey I shrunk the kids is at HS but it will be closing April 2nd, there's a dinosaur playground at AK, Epcot only has a playground when they have the flower and garden festival (I believe it's F&G and not food and wine), MK has a little water playground type area over by The big tent in new fantasyland.

Not sure what you're referring to with the bugs life.

There used to be more, but quite a few of them are gone now. We loved the little one in Toon Town and especially the really fun Pooh one, both at Magic Kingdom and both gone now. And, my son was crazy for the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. Sad to see it go. :( The Boneyard in Dinoland is amazing. Tons of fun. And, as you mentioned, the one on Tom Sawyer's Island is fun. Also, there is a very small one, designed for toddlers, near the exit to Splash Mountain. Those are really the only permanent ones left that I can think of, although the ones they put up for the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot are cool. There are several water play fountains, like the one mentioned above in Fantasyland and a few in Epcot. Also one at Disney Springs...at least I think that one is still there. And all of the resorts have playgrounds, of course. We think the one at Coronado Springs is particularly neat.

oh darn we missed honey I shrunk the kids because it was pouring on our last trip and they closed it, really bummed it will be closed!
and sorry about the misinofrmation about bugs life, not sure what I was thinking of!
I wasn't aware the resorts had them as well, I will have to check that out!

I forgot about the one by pooh, wasn't there a mcdonalds over there too at one point or am I nuts?

There used to be a place at Epcot that sold a few McDonald's items. Mainly nuggets and fries. That McDonald's partnership ended and they changed the food around 2008 or so

The one at Fort Wilderness is pretty nice. Nothing fancy, but it's a nice shaded playground close the beach area and it's a fun boat ride over from the Magic Kingdom.

Oh my gosh! Forgot one of the best ones. My son LOVED it when he was younger. We spent millions of hours there. Can't believe I forgot it. Plus...it's INSIDE and AIR CONDITIONED! Space Port playground in the Mission Space exit area. Don't have to ride the ride. Just enter through the gift shop and walk toward the back. It's very cool....literally and figuratively. Lol.

Just want to mention that not all the resorts have them, or if they do, I have not found them at: Poly, Contemporary, YC. Perhaps the deluxes' don't have them? Thanks for the tip on Mission Space exit. We avoid that ride like the plague ever since my DH would not believe it was a bad idea to take my 6 year old scaredy cat on the orange side. Ever since, it is like there is a force field blocking us away from that attraction! We will have to brave the exit to see the play area!

My son loved the Dumbo play tent!!!
You don't have to ride to play but they will give you a beeper so you can play while you wait.
