List of abreviations?

Is there a list of the abreviations used on this site? Sometimes I don't have a clue what posters are referring to. For example, what is OKW? BLT? I feel a bit lost in letters sometimes.

ha ha It does get confusing sometimes doesn't it. In today's society where everyone is texting, it's like there is a whole new language out there. ha ha.

From my experience, most times people abbreviate resort names, park names restaurant names or attraction names. "OKW" I would think is Old Key West. "BLT" I would think is Back Lot Tour, but not totally sure on that one.

I, however, am a person who rarely abbreviates. I can't even use "LOL", I prefer to write "ha ha". I guess I am a geek and not up with the times.

I thought BLT was Bay Lake Tower. I guess it depends on the context of the sentence. Here's a question... I have always assumed the "D" in DH, DD, DS, DW stood for Disney. I have also seen other posters who thought it stood for other things. Anyone have a solid answer? Thanks.

In our little world here on the Dis, I think most people use the "D" to mean Disney Husband, Disney Wife, Disney Daughter, Disney Son, ect. However, I've also seen D stand for Dear and Darling.

Okay, I've got a question too. I looked at the link and didn't see these abbreviations - PP and OP. I'm guess Previous Poster and Original Poster????

DH, DD, DS, DW etc are general message board terms used on all types of internet forums and the understanding is that the D stands for Dear. It is not a specific abbreviation to just a Disney board.
