February 9, 2004 (Monday) Day 71 on the Beach
I was home today with DS. Didn't feel comfortable leaving him alone. He is much better (Tuesday) what a difference a day can make in the life of a teen! I did manage to complete the 55 minute FIRM cardio video in the afternoon again! Second time ever I finished it. My muscles are a bit sore but I feel really good. DH and I decided we will not be able to join our friends on the cruise in September, we just can't afford it unless we "charge" it and we've decided to become debt free. It was a big bummer though. The good news is, we had considered selling our DVC, but we both decided we love it too much to part with it so we're not selling! That makes me happy and takes the sting out of not going on the cruise with our friends. Maybe next time. But hey, now we have our annual Hilton Head trips to look forward to and my trip to Disney in June won't be my swan song after all!
Menu:
B: 2 scrambled eggs, 3 slices of bacon, 1 slice of whole wheat toast with grape simply fruit spread and 1/2 glass of 1% milk
S: no snacks today
L: cheese toast on whole wheat bread
D: taco salad with 1/2 cup of no sugar added ice cream for dessert
Exercise/Water Gauge:
I already mentioned that I did the entire 55 minute FIRM cardio video again this afternoon. Yea me! I didn't drink as much water as I would normally like being home but I would say it was a 4.5 on the scale. Not too bad.
That's a wrap for Monday!
Thanks to CourtasanSatine and Marcia for stopping by! It's always nice to have my WISH buds cheering me on!

.
. keep up the great work, you are doing fantastic
It sounds like you're walking the walk and there's no looking back: you've blazed a trail of a healthy living for yourself and you've made it your home! Good for you.
on you and DH as you deal with your DS. Having a teenage daughter myself, I can say--that as much as I love her--there are definitely times when she's
a bit.
for all you've accomplished - staying on plan at your gathering last Saturday, not turning to food after the episode w/ DS, smaller clothes, etc. etc. etc.!!
I hope you can find a way to comfortably fit it into your routine! I'm looking forward to warmer weather so I can walk outside with the puppy and my DH after work. Until then, things don't look good!
through this. Good Luck.
