I have seen her on VMK today. It was about an hour ago, maybe a little longer.

Believe it or not the storm is not even here. It stalled again but the good news is there is such a small shift in direction that we will have very little rain and wind. There is a going to be a tidal surge but even that should not make all the way to my house. I am going to bed in a little while and I will hopefully sleep through it.

Funny thing is my family is in RI they are under a watch and freaking out. They are not used to the like I have leanred to be. It has been pretty funny talking to my Mom who is already preparing.

So the up side is we never lost power, we have an abundance of food and I caught on all my laundry thinking that we might not have power for a few days.

My glass is past full this evening! I mean the virtual one, my actual one is fully drained as expected as Vice President of the VMK Chapter of Bad Girls!

I too am glad you are okay!!

I was so happy each and every time I saw you yesterday because I knew things must be okay there!

I haven't watched the news lately. Youngest has been sick with fever since Monday night and I've been letting him watch TV and movies to get him to rest. Even sick he likes to run around and then he gets to coughing and all, so I have tried to give him activities that involve being still (played lots of Connect Four and Candyland this week, lol)

I hope the little one is going to be feeling better. I know when the kids are sick Mom hurts too. Poor little guy!

My Daughter was in a car accident with her Dad today. She is fine. He had just picked her up at school it is his weekend. OMG when I got that phone call I realized how quickly my life could have changed. Thankfully she is fine, she was a little shook up and wanted to cuddle a lot and I greatfully obliged.

Grace is with her Dad and my husband has National Guards so I have a very rare weekend to myself. I can play VMK if I want, I plan to take a nap. It is going to be glorious!

OMG, I am so glad your Daughter is okay. That type of phone call is a fear of mine!!

Cody is feeling better I guess. The fever has stayed down 24 hours now!! Still has the cough and runny nose, but the nurse said the cough could last 2 weeks (viral bug he got). Now just crossing fingers that Kris doesn't come down with it.

I didn't know your DH is National Guard. Mine was for 6 years before going active in 2001. Mine is away right now too. He is gone 2 weeks out of every month though, and will be gone 30 days soon. I will be so glad when the field rotations end!!! At least he isn't deployed, and is not far away!! I'm not ready for another deployment.
