Sorry, I just got caught up on my DIS threads. That garter is HOT! I think I'm making one for my future sister-in-law b/c she can't stop talking about getting a garter or if someone else is getting one for her.

Tonight I finally Dyed my Crinoline. I have been putting it off...I don't know why, but I have my first Dress fitting on Thursday and I wanted it dyed to take with me. I first filled the washer with the hottest water I could and then I wet the Crinnie and it didn't fall apart so that was a good sign. I took it out of the water and put it to the side. Then I mixed the three boxes of Fuchisa Dye in a big measuring cup and added it to the wash. I turned it on to mix up some and then I added the Crinnie back in. I let it wash through two cycles (I untwisted it in the middle of the two cycles). Then I washed it with detergant two times...I wanted to make sure the dye was all out. I then untwisted it again and it is hanging to dry in the basement as we speak! I can not wait to try it on with my dress!!!! Now onto the pictures............

Wow! Lisa the crinoline looks amazing. It's going to be absolutely beautiful. I was at my nieces wedding on the weekend and I was surprised to see that her colour scheme was brown and pink too, although her new hubby was not wearing a pink tie!

The Brown is just for the Magic Kingdom/Epcot Pictures....The colors for the beach wedding are Pink and Green. I just didn't want DF to wear a green suit...LOL He is wearing tan linen pants and a white shirt on the beach and the brown suit for the photos at WDW!

Oh ok. Sorry about the mix-up I don't blame you, a green suit would be a little much. I saw the pic of the shirt for the ceremony, it's perfect, not too casual, not too dressy.

Once I realized that I couldn't dye mine in a front-load washer and THEN decided I don't think I want to add a crinoline to those already built into the gown, I gave up my dream of a pink crinnie! I am going to live vicariously through you, sweetie, if you don't mind, okay?

My Crinoline is a size 26.....If you change your mind and want one (and if it would fit you) , you are more then welcome to borrow mine.
