We are planning a trip in August and I know tickets go on sale this weekend. Do I need to buy them now or can I wait until closer to the show to get good seats?

If you know when you are traveling, I would just buy them now. Keep in mind that you are never going to get the very best seats because they hold those for casino guests.

I've seen The Lion King three times in three different venues. I always get the best seats -- like in the first ten rows -- by buying as soon as tickets go on sale. That's my 2 cents worth on the subject. :goodvibes

Thanks for the replies everyone, I bought tickets Sat when they went on sale and got front row(behind VIP seating) only 4 seats in. Now just hoping my daughter likes the show!!

How old is your daughter . . . we took DS15 when he was 8 when Lion King was playing in LA; and he fell asleep!!

she will be 6 and has been to alot of my nephews choir concerts and musicals that are 2 hours long and does OK. I also bought 4pm tickets so it won't be so late. I guess we'll see!!

I took my DD to the LA show when she was six and she loved it! But now at 12 doesn't remember seeing it.:sad2:
