Can you still watch this from Cafe Hyperion without having to queue for tickets? How does that work - do you have to book, or just buy food and grab a table?

When you queue for tickets does everyone have to queue, or can just dad queue for all 4 and leave mum and the kids to go on some rides?

Dad can queue for all 4. You have to buy food to gain access to the additional seating without a ticket.

It is worth queing for tickets as the view from the terrace where you eat is limited viewing and it is worth taking time out to see!

And people eating on the terrace will be making noise too.

We've always grabbed a table early and got lunch and eaten it while watching the show. Never had a problem before with viewing bar some ignorant europeans who decided to talk and move thru out the show that my dd then aged 4 told them to shush and they sat down looking mortified.

We've seen the show from both locations, although granted the cafe was a bonus as we were escaping from the rain.

I think it is worth the queue since it is a much better experience being in Videopolis to see Lion King IMHO

I agree with Emmo and Reid. On our first trip we queued for tickets and watched from Videopolis. This time round we timed it with a snack and got a pretty good view from the Hyperion cafe but it was nowhere near as enjoyable as watching it from the theatre.

I would definitely recommend queuing for tickets (however tedious this may seem) and watching it from the theatre for your first time. Just my opinion but I think watching it from the cafe is for when you have already seen it before.

Saw it three times from Cafe Hyperion & found the view fine from first row seats.

Thought queueing for tickets would be a waste of time. Our 2 are teenagers & much more interested in the rides. though they did enjoy the show
