Lion King on stage??

The Lion King stage show is currently playing here in Chicago...waaayy back, lines were hours long for tickets..well, they just recently released some extra tickets for each show and I managed to snag some balcony seats for our anniversary in September. Would love to hear from someone who has already "been there, done that" especially with balcony seats! Thanks in advance!

I saw TLK in New York from the balcony, Donna, it was great. I do have tickets for September also, got them a few months ago when they started selling them. It is a wonderful show.

We saw it a year or two ago in Toronto and were in the balcony. It's such a larger than life type production that no matter where you are in the theatre, you'll get the full experience.

We saw TLK in Houston last year and sat in the 3rd or 4th row in the balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed the show from that location but I was glad I brought some binoculars to view some of the action up-close. It's an incredible show!

We've seen this show twice in NYC. Once up close and personal in the orchestra and the once in the balcony. I won't lie and say the sears were equally as good, but I loved the show both times. You will totally enjoy it! Have fun!

It is playing here in Cincinnati right now. I just went a couple of weeks ago and had front balcony, and they were fine. I'm sure it would be nice to be up close though, but I was fine with the balcony as I didn't want to shell out the extra money. I'll take Simba any way I can get him.

We saw the show when it was in Dallas but sat in the orchestra, not real close but a great view.

It is an amazing show and I think you'll be pleased no matter where you sit.

Saw it in Toronto 2 years ago. Amazing show. We sat in the balcony and it was perfect. You'll love it.

I saw it last summer in Toronto... it was wonderful!!!! We were in the Orchestra section, not the balcony though so can't help you out there. Enjoy!!!

Just saw this 2 weeks ago in Providence, RI. It was fantastic!!!!! It was such a great night out for my DH and I. You will love it. It was longer than I thought though..a little over 2 hours? I just heard that Belle is going to be different now, changing actresses. Have fun!!

Oh brother, I posted that I saw that show in Providence, RI. Doh! What we saw was Beauty and the Beast a couple of weeks ago. I would LOVE to see Lion King, how lucky!!

Hi! We were in the balcony, when we saw it in NYC at the Amsterdam Theatre. It's an amazing, incredible show. The first scene, when the characters come walking out onto the stage, and it looks like the savannah, made me cry. We're going to see it again in a few weeks, when the show comes here to Charlotte.
