Lion King (Musical) in Cleveland This Summer

Did anyone else get the mailing about The Lion King being presented on stage in Cleveland this June, July & Aug? We rec'd a brochure that read "Special Offer for Disney Family Members" with tickets going on sale this a.m. through Feb. 7th only. This is supposedly a pre-sale thing before the tickets are available publicly.

We'd been wanting to see this but couldn't bring ourselves to deal with border hassles going to Toronto, and dh wasn't too interested in going to Chicago. But Cleveland, where the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is, is right up his alley.

So after a half-hour struggle this a.m. with dh and me both online & me on the phone with the ticket place, we finally ended up with tickets for the seats we wanted. We're so excited! It'll be a great family trip, and our ds' first "Broadway" show experience. Anyone else planning to see it there?

We might catch TLK this summer, depending on whether or not DW wants to see it again (we saw it in Toronto last year). It's a great show!!

I saw it at the Amsterdam Theater in NYC on 12/6/02. It was fabulous and I can't wait til it comes to the Weidner Center in Green Bay, WI so I can see it again.
