Lion King Characters

Hey everyone!

My friend and I are going to DW in the spring. My friend, 23 , is in love, let me repeat IN LOVE with the Lion King Movies. Thing is I’ve noticed that there doesn’t seem to be a lot of Characters from this movie in the parks or dining. Am I mistaken? Is there somewhere to meet (get autographs and pictures taken with) her beloved characters? I just find it weird that there isn’t anywhere since the movie is so popular and loved.

I've only ever seen Rafiki and Timon walking around the parks, usually in MK either right after you enter from the train station or back in Mickey's Toon Town... oh and they are in AK as well! Just ask a CM nicely and I'm sure they'd be full of helpful information on where you could find those two.

And don't miss Festival of the Lion King in AK-- its wonderful!!

Ive seen rafaki in adventure land at MKand rafiki and timon in Ak.The rest i have not seen except for the lion king sgow at animal kingdom. If she loves the lion king she needs to see this show.

Only Timon and Rafiki I've seen "walking" around (I don't even think Rafiki is in the FOTLK show...hmmm...can't remember...)

however- there are animatronics of Simba/Pumba at the FOTLK show...and you can get pictures with them after the shows sometimes.

Go the hub and veer left, and cross the bridge into Adventureland (the one that goes just past the Crystal Palace).

On the right there's a covered character meet and greet area, and you'll very often see critters from the Lion King hanging out there.

Good I need that. I guess there could be worse things she could be addicted to. She could be a Stitch fan ugh

To the best of my knowledge, those aren't animatronics. Pretty sure I've heard (from multiple people) that they are puppets.

Timon and Rafiki are the only two walk-around characters from the Lion King, but they're not too hard to find. I've seen them most recently in Adventureland near the entrance (where Greg K. said they were). Rafiki is usually on the character bus at EPCOT and I think I may have seen Timon there a couple of times but not often. At MGM, I seem to see them most near the Hat. At AK, Timon seems to be in the main entrance while Rafiki makes appearences at Rafiki's Planet Watch which can be reached by taking the Wildlife Express train that departs from Africa.

And, of course, don't miss the Lion King show at AK! There's also a movie called "Circle of Life" at the Land at EPCOT that also has a Lion King theme.
