Lion King 1 1/2 (possible spoilers)

Did anyone else pick this up Tuesday?

I wasn't too sure about it, but based on the previews and the reviews here on the DIS, I decided to buy instead of rent.

We finally got to watch it last night. This really is a movie you can't really appreciate unless you're familiar with the original Lion King, but if you are familiar with the story, a good portion of it is absolutely HILARIOUS! The funniest movie I think I've ever seen Disney produce. Even better than ENG. Some slow parts, but as a whole, it was a good laugh and worth the price. Rather different than I expected, though.

We also picked it up on Tuesday and my ds has already watched it twice. I haven't had a chance to sit down with him and watch it yet, though. Dh did watch it with him and he said it was really funny.

Thanks for the update on this movie. DS (7) wants it also but I wasn't too sure, now I'll make sure I buy it for him for Valentine's Day.

We bought the DVD on Tuesday for my 7 yo DD and she watched it Tues and Wed evening and asked me this morning if she could watch it again this evening. I have only been able to watch parts of it as I need to get dinner but from what I have seen it is pretty good. DD loves the games and looking for the hidden Mickey's.
