Linty Bath Towels

Has anyone ever had very linty bath towels? The kind that leaves lint all over your bathroom even when just sitting on the toel rack? I have some towels i recieved as wedding gifts that do this.

Is there any way to get them to be less linty? Or do i just have to keep washing them?

Unfortunately you just have to keep washing them. We got several towels for wedding gifts as well and they are just like that. Mine haven't stopped shedding and they've been washed at least 6 times. I keep hoping that they will stop soon.
