Linking tickets to App error!!

We bought tickets from a group discount through a convention. Got the tickets, updated the app and everyone in our large party is having issues linking our tickets to the app! We keep receiving an error that something went wrong, please try again.
Is there some trick to this? We desperately don’t want to miss Hagrids if it goes virtual!

We got ours from a discount site and were able to add them to our wallet with no problem back in Feb or March, but the poster on this thread was having a problem linking theirs. I just asked for any updates, so maybe if they respond, they'll have some advice.

Yup, still having the same error message. I was advised to print the ticket or show the QR code from my email, or possibly guest services could fix it once there. UO will not fix this before I arrive, it needs to be done in person.

Yup, I tried that too. Tried different browsers and also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It just doesn’t like it for some reason, but the ticket seller assured me the tix were valid and that sometimes this happens.

I just used the chat feature in the app. The robot quickly linked me to a live agent when I asked for one and they had me hooked up within 5 minutes!
But seriously, it should be easier than this for everyone.
