Linking tickets into UO app?

Has anyone been able to link their tix from UT into the UO app? I keep getting an error message. I contacted UO and they said I would need to come to guest services and they could not help me over the phone.

I can print them out, but would prefer them to just be in the app if possible.

appreciate any advice!
 
I was able to do it back in March but on the website not the app. Just double checked and they are still successfully linked, LOL. Have you ever done it before? Maybe double check with UT also that they gave you the correct ticket numbers and that everything is valid? I have found UT customer service to be very good and easier than WDW.
 

When I called UO, they said because they were promotional tickets (buy 2
Days get 2 free) I would have to do it there at guest services- but I will call UT just to make sure.

I was able to put tickets from UT, the buy 2 days get 2 free, on my UO app yesterday.

I printed the QR code that has the ticket number listed on it.
Then on the UO app area where you can add tickets, I used my camera and it "read" the ticket number. Was also able to add the names to each ticket. And they are now saved on the app.

Hope you;re able to do the same.

Thank you for posting this. This is what I have been trying to do and it won’t let me. Hmmm. A little nervous but I trust UT to make sure it’s right. Really appreciate you writing in that it worked for you! :)
 
May I threadjack a sorta related question? This thread reminded me to try linking my son’s UCT ticket to the UO app which did work...except, despite listing him as purchaser, it says the ticket is mine. The UCT ticket does have his name above the QR code so ticket numbers match but names do not. Is this going to be a problem at the gate?
 
When I added all my family member's tickets to my account there either wasn't the option to add/change names or I missed it so they all have my name on them. I asked a phone rep and they said it doesn't matter.

Just tried again- scanning the QR code in the app- the ticket number comes up but it won’t take it. Also tried a few browsers. Left a message for UT to see what’s up- I’ll report back :)

That is correct, does not matter when you order the tickets
They will be assigned to the person when they are first used to get into the park
 
Please do not post banned sites in the forums
They will be removed

If you are new and not aware of what is banned, it’s easy to figure out

any banned site will shows astricks in place of site name

Slightly to...am I the only one who can't like a purchased but not used or picked up ap to the app? Thanks.

So sorry- my apologies. ** was mentioned many times on the the Disney side of this forum, along with other reputable discount ticket sites so I thought it was ok. Maybe the rules over there have changed too- it was 2019 when this seemed like it was happening regularly. Thx!

I called the discount ticket company on Friday and again today (Tuesday) and left messages- have not heard back yet. Will report back when I learn what’s up!

Hmm... that's strange. Maybe the holiday weekend? I emailed when I had a question or needed to make changes and heard back within 24 hours each time. Could you try that?
