Linking Room Reservations

In order for my sister and I to request our rooms to be connecting or close by each other, do we both need to call with the other's reservation number and add the request? I can't remember what we had to do back in 2018, but for some reason I'm thinking we did this due to safety/privacy reasons.

I haven’t heard that, only that each confirmation number needed to be added to the other reservation along with the “Traveling With” notation. One of you can call, give both confirmation numbers, and request the “Traveling With” notation be placed in both. I’m sure they’ll tell you if your sister has to call too.

Only one party needs to call with both confirmation numbers so that a traveling with can be added to the reservation.

We did something similar back in 2019 and only one person needs to call. You do need the confirmation #'s (or whatever Disney calls them) for both reservations. Some things you can do in MDE, while other types of requests can only be done via phone.
