Linking resort reservations

We are traveling with a group on 3 different reservations. One group is staying at another resort since their family needs space for 5. Is it possible to still link reservations being in 2 different resorts? I know it really doesn't do much but we hoping that if one of us get a PIN we'll be able to use it for all the rooms. Also, can anyone confirm that you can do that? I thought I read it in a thread on the discount board.

No, you have to be in the same resort.
