I ahve 6 nights using my points at VWL and I am going to get a reservation for 1 night to make it seven nights. Can these two reservations be linked together, even though they are under two different members points?

As long as the seventh night is in the same accommodation type / resort then yes these can be linked. You will need to have a three way call (you, other member and member services) to request the linking of the reservations.

I have two different memberships, contacted ms to have the reservations linked, which they were. You would need to have the members contact ms to do the same. We had the same room but still had to check in and check out.

Being told your reservations are linked means you can stay in the same room for the whole reservation.

From past experience, you will find that you have to get new cards at the start of the next reservation, as your cards will not work.

This is a quirk that really needs to be fixed.

I had 3 reservations using my own points. We returned from the parks late at night to find our cards did not work. Two days later, again cards don't work. We had 3 sets of cards for a 6 night stay.

Before our trip, MS assured me everything was properly linked. At check in, I was told all properly linked.

What a nuisance!
