Linking reservations ?

I Booked a second campsite for our daughter's family as a Christmas present. I was told I couldn't book both in my name as was advised here to insure getting our campsites together. What are my chances of getting two sites together?

I agree. There is no "linking." I tried when we were there two weeks ago with two reservations and was told there was no such thing.

They linked the two that I had in August 09 (ours and DD & SIL)..When we arrived the CM even said we have you side by side as you requested. It was all done when I made the reservations earlier in the year.

When I made the second reservation she (CM) said she would link them but I couldn't have them both in my name. Glad to hear you got the two sites together. We really need this because we may split up another family between us. I want to rent a camper for the third family but not sure if we can all afford it or if it's worth it.

I don't quite get the both in my name problem....if it's all got to go on my credit card, how do they resolve that issue? Or do they not let you pay also?

You can make and pay (on one CC) for multiple ressies but you have to have seperate names and address and phone number on each one. They just put you billing address on all of them when they get to that point. They will show up as seperate bills on your CC. The CM will then link/reference the reservation numbers on all the reservations.

As I said in OP it worked for us with no problem.
