Linking Reservations

Suppose I have points at two different resorts. At the 11 month window, I use home resort points to book 3 days. At the 7 month window, I use points from another resort to get consecutive days to the ones I already have booked. Same room category and view. Can the reservations be linked so that I will not have to change rooms?

You would not need to link if you extend the first reservation.
