Linking reservation to park ticket purchase

OK...I set up My Disney Experience. My reservations at BWV show up. I purchased park tickets separately and they show up. Do I need to link the park tickets to my room reservations in order to take advantage of the 60 day FP+ reservations. It does not show me anywhere when I can start making them. Will this just show up at the 60 day mark?

Example- I arrive to BWV on Jan. 15. Will it just open up on Nov. 15?

If both your room reservation and park admission are linked to MDE, you don't need to do anything else.

Your 60 day FP+ booking window will open on 11/16/2014 (based on a 1/15/2015 check-in date).

Will the date "magically" appear? Should the system tell you the date Fastpass is available or does it just show up on the correct date?

Currently...it shows me 30 days out, but does not tell me the 60 day out. Yes...I can figure it out...but I wondered if it should be showing me the first date of availability...

The MDE system only shows your first day of availability when your 60 day window opens as everything is tied to your resort arrival day.

Anyone with a ticket linked to MDE has the 30 day availability.

Yes, the system will magically change from 30 days to 60 days when you reach 60 days from check in.
