I have Key to the World cards from the early 2000s that are unable to be linked to MDE. I was told over the phone by Disney that I need to get replacement tickets once I get to Orlando. We have three 5-day no expiration tickets + waterparks. Only 2 days + waterparks are left on each.
My question is Where exactly do I need to go to get valid tickets? Can they be done at my resort? (staying at all star sports)
Or do I need to go to the gate of any park to convert them?
I would like to get them on MDE once we get to Orlando and not worry after that!
Thanks in advance!

Go to any Guest Relations outside any of the theme parks, at TTC, or the two Guest Relationslocations at DTD.

Thanks! We will be at DTD on our first night. Where exactly are they located?

attaching a question to Op......:thumbsup2 Say one family member traveling has ONLY an old ticket for using next trip, while the rest of us have new ones.... how do we make FP+ for the person with just the old tix? I really really hate this FP+ garbage.... :confused3

Can't make FP without a valid ticket linked into MDE as I just found out. I was able to link the military voucher but unable to link a pass from 2007/08 to the account. I can make FP for the 4 people who have those but not for me as I can't get my pass to go in. Will try again or call them tomorrow

Please let us (me;)) know how the call goes. I have KTTW cards with tickets on them from 2012 and despite numerous calls to IT and multiple promises that they would get back to me and add them, it was never done. I gave up and bought all new tickets for last years trip. That's not in the budget this year. I'd like to add the two day tickets to MDE this year and upgrade them when I get there, but I dread the hours of long distance phone calls like last time. If nothing has changed I will just wait until I get there to straighten it out.:)

Have you tried to use a phone scanner to scan them through the MDE app? I linked KTTW tickets from 2011 using the phone app and scan ticket. They showed immediately in the app then took about 24 hours to post to the website version (or the other way around..??) need smart phone but could be worth a try not having to wait for IT :)

By "phone scanner" do you mean the camera in the phone?

:rotfl: Yeah not too technical on my end amazing I actually got it to work! Actually I thought about saying "Camera" but older flip phones have those but dont actually Scan anything just takes a picture. In the Android version of the phone app it actually says "scan the Ticket ID or Confirmation code".

You wouldn't want to go to the Phone's camera app to try to upload a pic, not sure what the process is for Iphone app version but assuming its the same as the droid.

Its the phones same technology as QR readers but again didnt want to suggest that you go through a QR reader app either.

Over thought it too much and not technically fluent enough.

I had success calling 407-939-1289 yesterday to add 5 day Park Hoppers with one unused day from 2003 to MDE. It took about 10 minutes, but they were able to locate tickets in their system and add them onto my account.

Ok!! Now this is WEIRD!!!

I had tried what you suggested in the past and it wouldn't work and told me to call. That's where the whole IT mess came in. But I decided to try again and THEY ARE THERE!!!:cool1:

But only on the app. Not on my MDE account when I check online:confused3

It shows a pass with two days remaining for each member of my party on the app.
I guess I have to call and have them help me figure it out, but at least I am closer than I was.

ETA) and just for clarification.. they were already there on the app. I didn't scan them today.

I am going to try this.....

So I called the number referenced above, they were able to link 1 of the 2 older tickets I have. Which was great, I then said to the CM that I would just leave the other one home. He suggested I bring it to convert it while I was down there and it could be used on a different trip. Also if you have the MDE app on your phone, it shows how many days are left on old tickets once they are linked. 6 days and counting! Can't wait....haven't been since 2008 and will be bringing the 2 & 4 yr old grandsons...

looking at the link on MDE, it appears I have some '04 and '05 tix that look like some of the 'link tickets' choices..... I have 8 different tickets... all with a day or 2 left on them.what would prevent me from trying to link ,say, just one of them to test it out? If I do try that, I need to link it to one of the names within my MDE acct, right? I can't just randomly add a ticket to the account? And If I do try it, how would this affect my (later) linking my new UT ticket to my account? I want to use the new tix for my next trip, and keep the other old ones in reserve(I think) for a future use.advice?

It doesn't matter how many or what kind of tickets that you have linked to your MDE account.

Once at WDW, go to any Guest Relations outside any theme park, or at TTC, or at DTD and have the CM set the PRIORITY of the ticket that you want to USE NEXT to the highest priority. Only that ticket will be used at the gate.

You can then have Guest Relations change the priority of your linked tickets as many times as you like, using the same technique.
