If I buy my park tickets from the Disney website they will email a ticket.

Is this a usable ticket or just a voucher?

More importantly will it contain the info I need to link it to MDE?

Thanks for any info.

When you say Disney website, do you mean the USA website on international or UK version?

As I only need 7 days of tickets it doesn't make a lot of difference pricewise which one I buy from. Is one more hassle free than the other when it comes to linking tickets?

Libby, have you considered buying MYW tickets? A ticket agent, such as Undercover Tourist, will send you real tickets which you can then link by typing in the code or scan using the app on a smartphone (or iPhone).

Thanks, I will look into that but I am a bit wary of buying from sites other than Disney since we had a near miss with tickets a few years ago. We got ours but a lot of people didn't.

In the mean time does anyone know if the emailed tickets (vouchers?) from the UK Disney site can be linked into FP+?

I do understand that Libby. However, I have to say that we have used Undercover Tourist every year for our tickets and never had any problems. They are very reliable and their customer service is second to none.

As far as buying direct from Disney, I beleive there were issues last year with being able to link the tickets but I don't know if they still exist.

Thanks for such a quick reply.

I'm not going until October so I can wait and see how everyone else gets on during the early summer.

I'm so excited as we weren't meant to be going back until 2017 but have managed to sneak a week for just DH and myself. :goodvibes

My cousin used to be obsessed with the band Linkin Park.

The thread title made me think they'd had a comeback!

Exciting! we are going in October too and we were supposed to go 2015! :cool1: good luck with the tickets we and others i know bought from orlandoattractions.com, tickets not vouchers takes about 2 weeks to deliver and loads of money off vouchers with it too, but you should buy who you feel happiest with. :thumbsup2

We have bought our park tickets through Disney website staying in Buena Vista Palace and I am wondering how I will link to MDE too.

I am hoping to do FP+ but unsure if I will receive park tickets or not.

We are going in oct.

I believe that, if you buy from Disney direct now, you get a confirmation number which can be used to link your tickets to MDE in advance of receiving them. You will still need to take the confirmation number and collect your actual tickets at Guest Relations at one of the parks or Downtown Disney.

Ooh that's interesting.

Do you think I need to wait for this information to arrive or would they give it to me over he phone?

I may find out by calling anyway
