Linking DVC Rental in Disneyland App

I just received my confirmation for a DVC rental Grand Californian next year (woohoo!) but I can't figure out how to link that reservation on the website or in the app? The Disneyland website says to enter the 8 number confirmation number, but my confirmation number is 12 numbers... Also, I can't see anywhere in the Disneyland App to input a reservation number. Any ideas?

I don’t think Disneyland has that functionality.

If I want to see my own VGC reservation I have to log in to the DVC site - there's no way to link them to the Disneyland site that I've ever found.

I think the rental company uses a template for all rentals but linking isnit relevant at VGC.
