Linking cards to MB's

My mom and two of her friends are using some of our points to stay at the Poly in January. Are they able to each link their own credit card to their MB's, or would they all need to be linked to one card? They want to be able to pay for their own charges rather than split it up at the end.

If they are able to link their own cards, would it be easier to set up the cards for charging ahead of time or when they check in? I will be at the Poly while they are there and I have pretty much planned their whole vacation, so I will be around when they check in.

You can only set up one card in advance through online checkin.

But once they are there they can have the front desk separate it.

Yes.

This has to be done at check in. It can't be done beforehand.

We have done this and it works. However, I strongly suggest that when they leave the check in desk after the CM sets this up that each member of the party go to the gift shop and purchase a small item using their Magic Band. Then head over to the Concierge Desk and ask that they pull up the charges and make sure everyone's purchase was charged to the correct account. I can tell you from experience it's much easier to get it corrected then rather than at the end of the trip.
