Linking Accounts / tickets

I would appreciate a quick tutorial on what to do on a park entrance…

I have 2 people with me whom have thier own accounts in the DL app, If they want to be able to make LL selections for everyone how to I do that?

Heres the group.

4 people
1 Planner (me with original account)
2 Wife NOT a planner (using my account)
3 DS (Has own account, want to buy own food and make LL’s
4 DS2 Wants to make LL and buy own food.

I have my Chase card as payment already for all the accounts individually.

I am guessing I scan everyone in with my app as it will have the tickets on it?

What to do after that?

Everyone can add all the tickets to their own accounts. Or, they can all sign into your account. Personally, we just have everyone log into my account. But each person can add all the tickets to their own accounts (so you, wife, and both sons) can all be in their own accounts and add the other 3 people's tickets.

You can scan from phone to phone. Go to tickets and passes, click the + at the top right corner. Link tickets & passes. Scan the bar codes of the other passes. You need to have the tickets for everyone scanned into each account that wants to make LL selections for everyone.

This is so different from WDW …..

So it says my Epackage will be aviavle on July 28th.

I will be able to scan all the tickets into all the accounts then? Or will I have to wait till I visit the parks each day?

I believe they will automatically appear in your account that day (or whatever account the package is booked under). At that point yes, you can scan them into the other accounts. You don't need to wait until you scan in the first time. You also won't need to do this every day- once the ticket is scanned into the other account once you're set.

I have a similar issue (we are WDW veterans, but Disneyland newbs). I made the hotel and park hopper reservations for a September Disneyland visit and added my wife as a guest to everything. in the Disneyland app, she can see the hotel reservation, but not the tickets, the park reservations or any of the restaurant reservations I made. Linking by number hasn't worked and neither does trying to scan the QR code on my confirmation--and I don't see a bar code on anything (and the app says "scan the bar code" to link). Thoughts? Thanks.

She will never be able to see the restaurant or hotel reservations unless she is logged into the account they were made under. Is your booking a package? If so your actual tickets won't show up until a week or so before your first day. At that point you should be able to scan those into her account as described above.

Yeah I was perplex by that also.

But only the account that made the reservations can see the reservations.

You will only see the hotel.

I am hoping the LL selections will be shared after the tickets are linked also. My package tickets are set to drop about a week before.

You can see this date in the app under hotel information.

Any tickets that you add Genie+ to and select when you choose LL return times will be able to see those upcoming return times on their app, as well as have the ability to redeem them. Just make sure you add EVERYONE'S tickets to EVERYONE'S apps so that only one person in your party has to make LL return times for all of you. Anyone will be able to redeem them.

Good info. LL bound to the tickets…

We actually had a plan to have multiple people watching for LL and ILL return times.

This way no one person had to do all the work.
