Hi All!

We got two dvc's last year and we finally booked our Disney trip this summer. I don't see it in my disney app. I do have a confirmation number. In order to see it in my disney app do I need to call member services and have them link it to my disney? TIA. It's my first time doing this and I'm not sure if I can do it on my own or if its something MS has to do. =)

You have to add DVC reservations to your MDE directly. They do not show up automatically. Just go into the Disney website, log in, go to My Disney Experience, My Plans, and it will have something that says "Link Reservation". Add your confirmation number and that is it!

You link it yourself. Go to MDE and look at your plans. There should be a button for "plans and Tickets" and then there is a circle that says RESORTS. If you hover over that circle the "link reservation" button shows up. CLick it and add in your confirmation number.

Related question... I modified a reservation that was already linked in MDE. It shows up correct on DVC website (when it loads), but the original dates are still showing on MDE.

Is there a lag between DVC making the change and it getting updated on MDE? I seem to recall that modifications to previous reservations got updated in MDE, but I don't remember if there was a delay.

Could this be something to do with cookies still "remembering" the original dates in MDE? I logged out and closed the the browser, but it didn't change when I logged back into MDE.

online check in is the trick to get it fixed

Thanks for the tip! Miraculously, it did finally update when I checked this morning. I'm not sure if it was just some kind of lag or what, but it shows correctly now. If I experience this again, I'll remember to use the online check-in workaround.

I've got the same problem. I'll wait a couple of days to see if it corrects itself.
(Actually, I changed the dates first, then linked to MDE. But it still used the wrong dates in MDE.)
I may have to try the 'check-in' trick, but I'd rather not check in already for a Dec 2022 stay.

I've chatted a couple times with Member Services about this. One time they (MS) made the change for me. The second time the cast member absolutely refused to and made me update my check in. I was already checked in, just had to go in and hit "save changes" again and it worked. Not sure why the 2nd CM made me do it, but whatever, lol. I don't mind checking in a year ahead of time so I'll just re-check in if I ever need the change to show on MDE

I've noticed MDE help has been hit or miss with Member Services all the time. One of the CMs told me that they were told that higher ups wanted MS to be more hands off so that members could be more self reliant. Another one offered to do things without my even asking. Probably another case of different levels of customer service from the CMs.

Since MDE has its own support division, it’s also possible they want owners to use them as they should be able to help with anything that impacts MDE and then CMs at MS can handle DVC restated issues that others can not.
