Linking a purchased Magic Band?

If you buy a special Magic Band from the Disney Store, how do you link it to your account? If you already have a free Magic Band linked to your ticket, can you use either one? TIA!

Add the band to your account by inputting the number on it. You can use any bands linked to your account interchangeably.

Yes magic bands are interchangeable.

MDE App>My Account>Clock Magicbands and Cards>Click Link a Magicband or Card

Then you entire the code found on the underside of your magicband where the middle puck piece is at. After entering it you can either select to link it to your account or anyone on your MDE list.

It takes less than a minute and is super easy. You can have a bunch of bands linked to your account and use any of them anytime you wish
