Link DVC membership to Disneyland app?

My WDW app shows my state of residence, DVC membership, Castaway Club membership, and that I'm a Disney Visa cardholder. My Disneyland app and website only show state of residence and Disney Visa cardholder. I'm not worried about the Castaway Club membership, but do I need to link the DVC membership? If so, how? I couldn't see a way to add anything to My Profile Memberships and Passes except to link a Main Entrance pass, and I'm signed in to both using my single Disney log in. If it's not important or doesn't help in any way, I won't worry about it.

I think I added our DVC membership to my Disneyland profile through the Disneyland website -- not the app. The basic benefit will be the automatic DVC discount (generally 10%) applied to Mobile orders, through the app, of food/merch.

I hit a wall trying to map a path of "how/where" I added DVC to my profile. I'm thinking "Affiliations" once fell under "Memberships and Passes" ... but has been removed. Sorry -- I can't tell you where I found it ...

Thanks, I looked at my profile on the Disneyland website but couldn't see a way to link it there either. I think I'll post this same question on the DVC Mousecellaneous board or the VGC forum, just to get more eyes to look at it!

We visited Disneyland in October and (I asked my wife to double check my memory) we showed cast members the MagicMobile pass to confirm we were DVC members to get discounts. I know it seems odd as the Magic Mobile is set up through the WDW app, not the DL app. I might have also had my blue card too.

And I just checked through the Disneyland website. The only place I saw something was if you go to: Places To Stay, then: View Offers and Discounts. Towards the top there is a blue line of text that says: “Sign in or update your profile to check for additional offers”. Clicking on that you see an area for DVC members with a link to update profile. It will take you to your profile, but i don’t see a way to add DVC membership.

I had called about this when I became a member; I believe it’s a known issue that DVC membership doesn’t appear in the Disneyland app. The system sees it, we don’t. My mobile orders default to my 10% DVC discount even though I’m also a Magic Key holder, so I know it’s in there somewhere.

I don’t even think I had to add the affiliation anywhere? All of my Disney accounts share the same login and I’m assuming they “communicate” with one another.

Since I'm only a resale member, I assume it doesn't really matter for me if it's in the app or not then?

I wasn’t able to see DVC affiliation either in the site or app, however started a quick service mobile order to test it and it did show the dvc discount. For other places, I plan to use the digital dvc membership card in my phone wallet and will bring a printed copy as a backup.

I thought this sounded familiar. This came up on another thread asking about DVC discounts for mobile order at DLR. Here's what I posted there:

Actually, DVC Membership doesn't show on DL app. But it does on the WDW app.

I have one Disney account (single login for both apps).

The DL app shows the following memberships on my profile:

• Disney Visa Cardmember
• Disney+ Subscriber
• D23 member

The WDW app shows:

• Disney Visa Cardmember
• Disney Vacation Club Member
• Disney+ Subscriber

I'm a DVC "blue card" holder, meaning I have enough points directly purchased through Disney that I get member benefits. My D23 membership is the free one that doesn't get me all the benefits that paying D23 members get.

Another wrinkle: the Magic Mobile Pass that is added to my wallet on my iPhone shows:
Affiliation: DVC Y, ANNUAL (despite the fact that I no longer have an AP/Magic Key Pass at either DL or WDW and haven't had one for many years).

Bottom line (TLDR):
Despite not showing on your profile, there is a way to check if your DVC discount will apply to your DLR mobile order. Add your items to the order and select Review Order Summary. It shows the DVC discount and updates the total to reflect it. You can still exit out of the order at this point, so you can do this any time the parks are open to check for your discount (even if you're not currently in a park).

Thank you for the helpful information! Just in case it saves someone else some stress— the DVC discount does not show up at the “view my order” stage, you have to continue on to “review order summary” before the discount should be itemized.
