With the Harry Potter mayhem, and so many people staying on site at Universal now, how have the Express Pass lines been affected? In the past having Express Pass had pretty much guaranteed little to no wait. Is this still the case? We're going Wednesday, April 06th to both parks and will be purchasing the passes.

I'm not sure about now but we were there last July and had NO problems at all. The hotels only hold so many people. I can't remember the number of rooms specifically, but i'm pretty sure hotels were all booked.

We were there after President's Day and the express lines were extremely low but the hotels were pretty much booked up.

Every time we go the hotels have been pretty booked. But it always seems that when we go to the parks there are tons of guest that stay at the hotel or go offsite. So even if the hotel is sold out, chances are about only 40-60% are in the parks.:thumbsup2

We just got back, and used the Express Pass on Sat(Mardi Gras) placed was packed, but with the EP, we breezed through the lines.

Just back. Stayed at Royal Pacific (one of our favorite hotels). The express lines went pretty quickly but unlike past visits, none were just walk ons. the longest express line was at the US's Mummy ride--about 15-20 minutes.

I HATE that the FJ is not part of the express system; hopefully that will change in a year or two. The wait for FJ on Wednesday 3/16 was a full 90 minutes.

Single-rider is one of the best "secrets" out there. The absolute worst I've ever heard of is 30 minutes in SR, and it is usually 5-10 at most. Try it next time!

Same with us, when we stayed in July. Resorts were very full, parks were packed! The express lane was wonderfull. The longest we waited was for Simpsons, 15min wait. Everything else was short line to no line at all. Except WWoHP, which was crowded all day/night.
