I am taking my 10 year old brother to WDW in May with a day at Universal and he is autistic. I had read on here somewhere befpre that Universal offers a pass so you don't have to wait long in the rides (which would be great for him because I know he gets antsy around crowds and standing around). I was just looking for more info on this and what is required for it as i cannot remember?

Guest services handles the GAC


See them when you are at the park.
GS are outside and inside the parks.

The card will help alleviate extreme waits.

There is a process you will follow for your return time for the rides.
The TM at G S will explain the process to you

I think Mac had a typo, but it could be something new that I don't know about. What you want is a GAC (guest assistance card), not a PAC. I'm not quite sure what a PAC is. The process is the same as what mac has said and should reduce your line waits significantly.

Talk to the TM at guest services.

They will work with the needs of the child for the GAC.

Is there any benefit to a GAC at Universal/IOA if you are staying on site? Not sure what other accommodations it could provide throughout the parks. (My son is also autistic and we are doing our first U/IOA trip in January.)

Yep, get the GAC (Spellcheck is off on my iPad ) at Guest Services. What it will do is if the ride has less than 30 minutes to wait, get right on. If more then hat, return when it's the posted wait time. Example:

Revenge of the Mummy has a 70 minute wait, so return in 70 minutes.
